Town Square Park: Saint George
Join the City of St. George, United We Pledge, and community partners in honoring the lives lost and the unity found after September 11, 2001.
From September 10–13, Historic Town Square will host the Field of Heroes flag display, a patriotic program and bell tribute on September 11 at 6 p.m., and a flag retirement ceremony immediately following. Together, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost — including 412 first responders — and recommit to the spirit of unity that carried our nation forward.

Liberty Village will join communities across the nation in commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence with Bells Across America. In partnership with the local DAR chapter, we will ring our Liberty Bell replica, echoing the spirit of freedom and unity. We encourage cities and towns nationwide to participate by ringing their own bells at the same time, creating a powerful, shared moment of remembrance.

Join us for public readings of the U.S. Constitution on September 17 in the Washington County Commission Chambers at 8:30 AM, 11:00 AM, and 1:30 PM. Celebrate this founding document and its enduring principles with your community.
