Liberty Village and the Washington County Commission celebrate America’s 250th birthday with Freedom’s Light, a vibrant, one-hour theatrical experience that brings the spirit of the American Revolution to life through powerful storytelling, music, and audience interaction. Performed by a versatile company of actor-singers, the production blends familiar and original songs with imaginative staging, as performers transform before your eyes into iconic historical figures. This engaging and immersive experience promises inspiration, energy, and patriotic pride for audiences of all ages.

Join us for Washington County’s America 250 Founders Festival at the Washington County Fair, April 16–18!

Be part of this once-in-a-generation celebration as we honor 250 years of American history with a hands-on colonial experience the whole family will love.

Step into 1776 with live artisans, interactive activities, colonial games, and immersive demonstrations that bring our nation’s founding to life.

Join us Thursday and Friday from 12:00–7:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM–7:00 PM and experience history like never before.
